Leading the way for IT Assurance in Scotland

Seminar Registration

With the imminent passing of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, monetary sanctions and brand damage issues will become even more relevant to the Boards and Management of organisations in Scotland.

The implementation of a best practice culture within the organisation requires change in attitude and awareness at both management and user level. This is an issue that will take time and resources to manage correctly and cost effectively in the current climate.

Baronscourt together with industry expert Alan Stead, Chair of the National Association for Information Management are holding a free breakfast seminar at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh. As well as dealing with the impact of the upcoming legislative changes to the Data Protection law, the guest speaker will bring together a number of other regulatory initiatives that make a compelling case for your information assurance strategy.

The seminar will also discuss the relevance of the IT Governance Maturity Model as a method of communicating to the business and senior management within your organisation.

Date:   19th November 2009
Time:   9.00 – 11.00
Venue: Sheraton Grand Hotel, 1 Festival Square, Edinburgh, Scotland, EH3 9SR.
