MetaCompliance delivers Information Assurance to ISfL

Baronscourt, the company behind MetaCompliance, the market leading IT
Governance, Risk and Compliance (IT GRC) solution, have been announced
as the exclusive sponsor of the Information Security for London 40th
member’s forum.
Baronscourt have been working closely with Local Authorities across the
UK to enable them to automate and manage the key tasks associated with
user awareness and engagement, and mitigate the significant risks to
information security presented by the uninformed, unwitting employee.
Leading lights in the local authority sector such as Essex Online
partnership members Basildon and Chelmsford Councils, Welsh Local
authorities Vale of Glamorgan and Merthyr Tydfil, and London
Councils such as LB Bexley, have all deployed
MetaCompliance to underpin their information governance programmes and
deliver on best practice Information Assurance. Anna Kelpie, UK Country manager with Baronscourt, explains the benefits of regional Information Security Forums engaging with companies such as Baronscourt:
"Baronscourt work closely with a wide range of Local Authorities right across the UK, to deliver on an essential component of Information Assurance, user awareness, and this will continue. However, with the growing regulatory burden on government organisations, sometimes the only mechanism for sharing best practice is through forums such as ISfL. It essential that Baronscourt engage with these fora, presenting best practice case studies and encouraging MetaCompliance organisations to share their experiences, to ensure that all local authorities are fully aware of, and have access to, the benefits that deploying MetaCompliance can bring to their IT Assurance programme."
The ISfL 40th Members Forum takes place on Monday 27th July at City
Hall. To register your interest, please visit the London Councils
website. If you are interested in finding out how Baronscourt can work
with your regional WARP or Information Security Forum, please contact
Tara Hutton on 0207 917 9527.
